to want girls which is fine, but there is just no good reason to not also consider

a good quality boy as a pet. They are totally devoted to their owners. A girl 

will love you, but a boy will be in love with you!!

 Hand delivered and home raised with tender, loving care. When you acquire a Dixidew puppy you get a puppy that is the result of a breeding effort to improve and maintain the integrity of the breed. Mom's receive supplements during pregnancy that are vital to proper development. The puppies here are born and raised in the living room and are constantly loved and socialized till they go to their new homes.  It is very critical that proper socialization occur during the first several weeks of life!  You do not want a puppy that has not been properly socialized! Puppies come with a written health guarantee against death due to a genetic defect up to one year of age. All puppies will be up to date on vaccinations, intestinal worming, heartworm preventative, flea treatment and whatever other care needed. Everything that has been given and that will need to be given will be documented for you. You will also receive a puppy starter  kit  along with several other pages that I have personally prepared to assist you in the care of your new friend, along with life time support. Anytime you have a question I am only an email or phone call away.

I want all my puppies to go to loving pet homes where they will be the center of attention. In your search for a puppy you must realize there is no substitution for quality, and that now is not the time to be bargain hunting. You are looking for a friend that will hopefully be part of the family for 15+ years. You want a puppy from a reputable breeder, that is striving to improve the breed by selective breeding of quality dogs. Please, do not purchase from, and thereby support a puppy mill breeder or a careless pet shop operation where puppies are a mere commodity, no love or socialization is provided,  are often kept (along with the parents) and raised in deplorable conditions, are often sickly, parasite infested and introverted, no effort to breed in accord with the Breed standard has been made, are rushed a way as quick as possible, no guarantee of any significance is offered, and the bottom line is the only consideration. Don't take a short cut when it comes to acquiring your new family member only to soon regret it.

*All Shih Tzu involved in breeding have been screened with the urine specific gravity flow test which indicates the concentration of the urine, i.e. how well the kidneys are functioning and results have been found to be well within the normal and acceptable range.
